My journey began in Brazil, where I spent over two decades building expertise across healthcare administration, publishing, business consulting, and education. From supporting medical operations at Hospital Santa Casa de Misericórdia to leading a major faith-based publishing organization in São Paulo, I developed a deep foundation in organizational leadership, financial stewardship, and cross-functional team management.
In 2010, I founded AskMarcio.com and Serafim Dpaulla Consultancy — two platforms born from a simple belief: that expertise should be shared, not hoarded. Over the years those platforms have helped clients across the U.S. and Latin America grow revenue, modernize operations, and navigate cross-border compliance.
Moving to the United States opened the next chapter. As a credentialed Career Technical Education professor in California, I designed curriculum in accounting, business, and technology for adult learners at Martinez Adult Education and Mt. Diablo Unified School District — helping hundreds of students earn nationally recognized certifications.
Today, as a Master Security Training Instructor at Seattle International Airport, I lead TSA training operations, shape officer readiness, and serve on the Transportation Security Support Team — including deployment to the 2025 U.S. Presidential Inauguration. AskMarcio.com continues alongside that mission, making free accounting education accessible to the world.
